For the Love of Loft ~ comes the perfect Low Profile Slab Bed

This low-profile Slab Bed, from one of my Brooklyn favs, is the perfect fit for any urban loft. Hand-crafted from domestic White Ash, this bed is shown in their popular Live Edge Claro Walnut, hand-rubbed, oil finish. Feel free to stop by the studio to pay Mr. Tyler Hays a visit or check out his other innovative, woody designs at www.bddw.com.

The Simple Beauty of Urban Rustic

Urban Rustic at its finest, is what you will find at this Williamsburg Brooklyn studio of BDDW. Tyler Hays, a painter and sculptor, is the founder of this small gem of a furniture company. Mixing heirloom quality Americana with clean modern lines, they handcraft solid wood pieces of select, domestic hardwoods, using traditional methods of joinery and apply hand-rub finishes of natural oils. See their fabulous beds below.
